How to Get Your Zapper Repaired ~ Instructions
(updated Nov. 2025) Don Croft’s Zapper Care, Maintenance & Repairs Instructions are after the mail-in instructions.
Email tracking information to: CroftZappers@gmail.com, so that we know to expect your package and pick it up as soon as possible.
NOTE: If you live outside of the USA and want to get your zapper repaired, make sure to read all the way down.
COST FOR REPAIRS: $30USD (cash preferred) or $31 if you pay with a credit card.
If you send your zapper with no payment inside and no email address or phone number to contact you for payment, we will not repair your zapper, nor mail it back to you. We will send you snail mail letting you know we’re waiting on payment in order to repair your zapper.
It costs way more than the $30 fee to actually repair your zapper and mail it back to you. The very low fee is our gift to you because we want you to be as healthy as possible.
If you live in the 50 United States (U.S. return shipping address):
1. Take out the battery, put in $30 cash for each zapper needing repair. Cash money is preferred.
If you absolutely don’t want to send actual cash money, then you can get a Money Order from your Post Office. We can also email you an invoice for $31.00 that you can pay with a credit card if necessary.
2. * Include the return shipping address and email address in the package just in case there are too many broken things, and can't be repaired, and they need to contact you to let you know what's going on.
3. Wrap the zapper(s) up so nothing else gets hurt during shipping.
4. Mail your package to:
Carmen My Healing Garden
PO Box 1614
Spirit Lake, ID 83869
5. Send an email to CroftZappers@gmail.com with your tracking number (or a picture of the Post Office receipt with the tracking number). Let us know if we need to email you an invoice for the $31 if you didn’t include cash money.
6. Once your zapper is repaired, we’ll mail your zapper back to you, and email you with the tracking number so you can track your package.
*** If you live outside of the 50 United States:
7. You need to pay for return shipping fees because it's way more expensive to ship internationally.
BEFORE SHIPPING YOUR ZAPPER: Fill out the 'Interested in International Shipping Form' completely so we can find out the shipping charge to your country. We’ll email you so you can decide if you want to mail the zapper for repairs.

8. An invoice will be emailed to you for the repairs and the return post international shipping fee.
You'll need to pay the invoice before the repaired zapper gets shipped back.
NOTE: WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PACKAGES LOST IN TRANSIT.

TEST THE ZAPPER EACH TIME YOU CHANGE THE BATTERY AND OCCASIONALLY IN BETWEEN!
The definitive way is to use a voltmeter: the voltage of the discs is approximately half the voltage of the battery so also test the battery. If you don’t have this tool, touch both of the zapper’s discs AT THE SAME TIME with your tongue while the light is flashing and if you don’t feel a tingle then clean the discs and try again. If you still don’t feel a tingle, test your battery by putting your tongue on both terminals for an instant. If you don’t feel a strong tingle from the battery, just replace the battery and do it all again. Sometimes new batteries are dead or very weak.
Removing the battery improperly will probably break one of the battery clip wires sooner or later. Quick Video on How to Put the Battery in the Zapper
We promptly repair broken zappers for $30 apiece (cash/not check) but please correspond with us before you mail it in so we can make sure that it’s broken. Some people send me zappers that are not broken and/or are simply not working because the battery is depleted or the disc farther from the switch is so covered by crud that the customer can’t feel the current through the lips.
CLEAN THE COPPER DISCS PERIODICALLY!
When the waste material from your body has created a coating on the ground disc (farther from the switch) you won’t be easily able to feel the current with your tongue when you test it and in this case you might assume the zapper is not working. The coating causes the zapper to be slightly less effective so it’s useful to clean it off. We use a paste-form, water based copper cleaner, which you can find in most grocery or hardware stores. Getting the discs soaking wet will eventually cause them to come loose from the box because the metal under the glue will oxidize so please don’t wear the zapper on skin that is sweating profusely and please don’t use a liquid copper cleaner.
All Repairs Are US$30, Cash (No Checks)
If you drop the zapper in water, remove the battery quickly and let the zapper thoroughly drain and dry before re-installing the battery and it will probably work fine. If you drop it in salt water, also rinse it with fresh water after you remove the battery.
If you keep dropping the zapper it will probably break eventually.
If you have any other questions, please send us an email.
