About the Healing Balms making process...

*** The only ingredients in the balms below are essential oils (from two companies whose names both start with Dd), organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, Vitamin E oil, and beeswax. Carmen only puts enough beeswax to solidify the ingredients, so excessive heat will liquefy the balm. Temperature fluctuations can make the balms bead up. The warmth of your fingers will liquefy it easily. (Carmen doesn’t have the $5K+ emulsifier machine to mix with, so hand mixing is what happens.)

* The beeswax is the only thing keeping this balm firm.  A little bit of this balm goes a long way. You don't need to push down too hard.  I just go around in circles on top and apply it.  You can always add more if you need it.

* If you are in a hot climate it may become soft or runny.  It works just as well this way, but you can put it in the refrigerator to firm back up.  * If you are in a cold climate, it may become very hard.  The warmth of your hands should help it soften. Again, you don't really need to use much. You can always add more.

*The coconut oil gets a little grainy when it goes through temperature fluctuations. The warmth of your fingers will liquefy it easily.
