August has already been a little too eventful for those of us living in and around North Idaho.

There are fires still burning throughout our region—in Canada, Washington, North Idaho, and Montana—and we've had quite a few days of unhealthy air quality. Because of the smoke, we've been spending more time indoors and a little less time outside and in the workshop.

I've also been spraying the pipes of our Cloud Busters with water to boost them and praying, doing what I can in my own way in hopes of helping the skies clear and giving the atmosphere a chance to bring us some much-needed rain. 🌧️ (This photo was taken on Aug. 2. It’s getting better every day. I even had blue sky with a bunch of chemtrails by yesterday evening.)

I really appreciate everyone's patience as I take a little extra time finishing your orgonite orders.

And I want you to know how much I appreciate you.

After all these years, so many of you feel like much more than customers or clients to me. You feel more like faraway friends—people I get to hear from when something is happening in your life, when you have something exciting to share, or when there's something I may be able to help you with.

I never take that trust for granted. ❤️

🌿 I Finally Told More of My Story...

If you've been with My Healing Garden for a while, you probably know quite a bit about what I do.

But you may not know very much about how I got here.

I've never been very good at talking about myself. 😊 I'd much rather talk about something I'm excited about, something I've learned, or something that might help someone else.

But recently I sat down and completely updated my About Carmen page, and this time I decided to share more of the story.

I wrote about being a little girl in Romania who seemed to know and experience things I couldn't explain... about shutting much of that part of myself down... and eventually finding my way back to it.

I shared some of the teachers, experiences, and unexpected twists and turns that shaped the work I do today—and how My Healing Garden eventually came to be here on our little mountain in North Idaho.

Looking back over my life while I was writing it, I realized something.

So many things that seemed completely unrelated at the time were actually little stepping stones leading me to where I am now.

And apparently... I'm still following the stepping stones. ❤️

Because My Healing Garden is growing in a way I dreamed about many years ago, but wasn't quite sure how—or when—it would happen.

🌲 A Dream Is Becoming Real... 

When Harold and I first found this property here in the mountains of North Idaho, one of the very first thoughts that came to me was:

“This is going to become a healing garden for many people.”

At the time, I had absolutely no idea what that was going to look like.

At first, I took the whole “healing garden” idea rather literally. 😊

We planted an orchard... three different times. And three different times, the rodents spent the winters eating through the roots, no matter how carefully we tried to protect the trees.

Then I grew so much food that I had to learn how to can it all.

I still have some of that canned food.

Apparently, two people don't eat nearly as much canned food as I thought they would. At least these two don't. 🫣

Eventually, I began to realize that maybe the “garden” I had envisioned all those years ago wasn't supposed to be quite so literal.

Especially when you live on a mountain in what is basically a giant Christmas tree forest, rather than down in the valley where there's plenty of water and things actually seem to want to grow. 😊

Maybe the “healing” part was more important than the “garden” part after all. ❤️

And in its own way, this property really is a garden.

There is something about this land that I've always had a hard time putting into words. We have an amazing variety of trees growing together here, and when you walk through the forest, different areas of the property somehow have their own feeling.

It's peaceful, but it's more than peaceful.

The land itself feels transformational.

Maybe that's why that thought came to me so clearly when we first found this place.

Over the years, My Healing Garden grew into something I never could have imagined back then. Instead of people coming here, I found myself reaching people all over the world—from a distance—through energy healing, intuitive readings, biofeedback sessions, orgonite, and all the other strange and wonderful things I seem to find myself doing. 😊

But somewhere inside, I always knew that eventually the right people would find their way here—the people who were meant to experience this little piece of the mountain for themselves.

I just didn't know when... or exactly what I was supposed to have ready for them when they arrived. 😊

And now, after all these years, I think I finally do.

We've created a private healing retreat here on our five wooded acres in the mountains of North Idaho—a place where one or two people can step away from everyday life for a few days and give themselves permission to slow down.

Come breathe.

Walk the forest trails. Take a meditation cushion with you and find a stump or a quiet spot beneath the trees that calls to you.

Journal. Meditate. Pray. Listen to the birds. Sleep. Rest.

It just took me a while to understand what kind of garden I was supposed to grow. ❤️🌲
